Becca Smith


Becca is a research, monitoring, and evaluation specialist with a focus on gender equality and social inclusion. Becca has expertise in developing monitoring and evaluation frameworks and theories of change, conducting field research, and leading project evaluations. She has led the design and implementation of studies in Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Iraq, Morocco, Nepal, Pakistan, and Timor-Leste. She is experienced in mixed methods research and evaluation, qualitative and participatory methods, and the use of digital data collection technologies.

Becca has delivered projects for clients including UNICEF, UNDP, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Global Affairs Canada, UK FCDO, USAID, Conflict, Security and Stability Fund (CSSF) in West Africa, Oxfam, World Vision, and CARE International. She has extensive experience in designing and implementing social development interventions, working with multilateral, public sector and private sector clients, and managing diverse teams.

Becca brings expertise in knowledge translation to strengthen evidence-based policy and practice. She is skilled in the production of high-quality knowledge products, data visualisation, and facilitation.
